Patsy believed that, if one listened closely, a walk in the woods provided the best opportunity to hear the voice of God.  She attained success as defined by Ralph Waldo Emerson: “To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children… to leave the world a better place… to know even one life breathed easier because you have lived.”

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, October 26, at 6 p.m. with the visitation beginning at 5 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  Officiating will be the Rev. Audie Hodges.

In lieu of flowers, Patsy would urge her friends to send donations to the American Cancer Society, 104 S. Poplar Street, Florence, AL 35630.
