Patsy Marie Bevis, age 64, of Cherokee, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Cherokee Pentecostal Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Billy George and Hollis Lacey officiating. The burial will be at Barton Cemetery.
Mrs. Bevis was a member of Lane Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hughie and Edith Pounders; three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Owen Bevis; children, Donna, Patty and Keith; brother, Gerald Pounders (Janet) and sister, Joyce Sullivan (William).
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
