Patsy Lynn Minnis Holt, age 70, of Springfield, passed from this life on Monday, February 8, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Barry Throneberry and Brother Joe Rushing officiating. Interment will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Cory Derseweh, Chance Derseweh, Stephen Baldwin, Gary Minnis, Gene Minnis and Chad Shelton serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10am until the hour of service at 2pm.
Mrs. Holt was born May 5, 1950 in Robertson County to the late Kelly Hubert Minnis and Eunice Highsmith Minnis. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, watching hummingbirds and spending time with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was known for her sense of humor.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Holt is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Holt and her sister, Diane Smith of Barren Plains.
Mrs. Holt is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Stephen Baldwin of Springfield and Christy and Cory Derseweh of Cross Plains; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Sheryl Minnis and Gary and Suzanne Minnis, all of Springfield; sister, Barbara Evetts of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Chance and Breanna Derseweh of Barren Plains, Hailey Baldwin of Springfield and Mandee Faulkner of North Carolina; and great-grandchildren, Aubree Derseweh, Trinity Faulkner and Timothy “T.J.” Faulkner.
