Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Johnson Roberts, age 71, of Wedowee will be held on Saturday March 1, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home Lineville with Reverend Dale Jones and Reverend Larry Cosper officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashland City Cemetery.
Mrs. Roberts passed away on Thursday February 27, 2025 at her residence. She was a native of Talladega, a former resident of Calhoun County but also considered Clay County home. She moved to Randolph County in 2002. Patsy graduated from Walter Wellborn High School and attended Gadsden State Collage for 2 years, was a loving and supporting wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a certified “domestic engineer” that really enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, and crocheting and caring for others.
Survivors include her husband; Rev. John Roberts. of Wedowee, her children; Angie Molock (Mark) of Piedmont and Laura Parker (Thomas) of Eastaboga, Kelly Fish of Heflin, William “Bo” Caldwell of Lineville, and Terry Roberts (Judy) of Heflin nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and a large extended family.
Pallbearers will be Mark Molock, Thomas Parker, Bo Caldwell, Bradley Caldwell, and Briar Molock.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville on Saturday March 1, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00.
