Johnny Francis Giesken, 53 of Marietta, departed this walk of life suddenly Wednesday, December 17, 2025, as a result of an accident. He was born December 14, 1972 to his late father and Carolyn Sue Wooten Hooper. He was a crane operator through Barnhart Crane and Rigging Company. He was the best husband, father, son, and pawpaw. He loved his family and friends with his whole big heart. If you were his friend then you were his family. To know him was to know true love. Johnny loved to grill and watch Tennessee Volunteers play football. He also loved to make everyone around him laugh and feel happy. He had a laugh you would hear before you ever saw him and you couldn’t help but laugh with him. He was loved by so many and will be missed by just as many.

A celebration of life will be Saturday at 12:00 pm on December 20, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Saturday all at Senter Funeral Home chapel in Fulton.

Johnny’s survivors include his mother, Carolyn Sue Hooper, step-father that raised him, Grady Hooper, wife of 7 years, Carrie Giesken; sons: Bryce (Bridges Estes) Giesken, Caleb (Karegan) Sanders, Austin Pannell; daughter, Lauren Giesken; granddaughter, Haelyn Sanders; sisters: Tonya Hooper, Bonnie Ream, Michelle (Shawn) Cox; a host of nieces of nephews.

Preceded in death by his Nephew, Justin Kemerling
