Ms. Patsy Free, age 80, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Jackson. She was born January 21, 1945 in Lexington to the late Bob and Georgia Dunavant Bowman. She was retired from Mark IV.
Survivors include her son, Wesley Blackwood; her sister, Omega Bowman Turpin; her brother, Sammy Bowman; and four grandchildren, Aaron Watkins, Iris “Luna” Blackwood, Arlo Blackwood, and Donovan Blackwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Ray Free; her daughter, Tracye Watkins; and three brothers, Harry Leon Bowman, Robert Wayne Bowman, and Mason Bowman.
Funeral services are scheduled for 12 PM, Saturday, December 13, 2025 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pafford Funeral Home on Friday, 5 – 8 PM and on Saturday, 11 AM – 12 PM.
