Patsy Emert Faske went to her heavenly home on October 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elizabeth Emert; her husband Karl Faske, Jr., and her son, Karl (Michelle) Faske III. She is survived by her sons Jeff Knight, Larry (Lisa) Knight, David (Tessa) Knight, and John (Desiree) Knight; daughters Laura Roach, Elizabeth Tuttle and Wendy Kalil; brother Ken (Robbie) Emert.
She also leaves her legacy to 13 grandchildren, Shane (Monica) Knight, Brandon Knight, Randy (Aimee) Knight, Chris (Kelli) Knight, Jason Knight, Kyle (Rachel) Knight, Briana Dolan (Tyler), Alexa (Matthew) Johnson, Elliana Knight, Nate Faske, Annaliese Faske, Danielle Roach, and 13 great-grandchildren. She attended Grace Life Church of the Shoals.
She loved the outdoors and was happiest in a cabin in the woods. Patsy was a talented homemaker and seamstress. She was the mother and grandmother that could sew your wedding dress, shoot a snake and bake you fresh rolls.
She didn’t allow the words “in-law” or “step” when it came to family. She received everyone as her own. She never met a neighbor that she didn’t feed. You never knew who might be at Thanksgiving Dinner, because her table was always set for anyone who needed a family.
She showed her family how to forgive and how to be content. She leaves behind a million memories of shared times around the table and by the campfire. The family will celebrate her life on Monday, October 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service at Greenview Memorial Gardens in Florence, Alabama. Officiating will be Bro. Matt Fowler.
