A memorial service for Patsy Diane Phillips, 74, of Lineville will be January 13, 2024 at 11:00 am at Christiana Baptist Church. Pastor Bob Bain will officiate and she will be buried in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Phillips passed away January 5 and was lifelong resident of Clay County. She graduated high school and went on to become a teacher’s aide for the Clay County Board of Education for over 30 years. She was always known to help anyone she could and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Cindy and David Pettis of Lineville and Matthew Phillips of Lineville; grandchildren, Michael and Adrianna Pettis and Lauren and Lane Browning; great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Rhett Pettis and Riggs and John-Rollin Browning; sisters, Patricia Johnson of Wedowee and Rita Adams of Delta; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Solon and Glenn Higgins; children, Sidney Phillips and Jason Phillips; and brothers, Randy, Jimmy and Kenneth Higgins.
