Patsy Davis Clement, 76, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. She worked at Blue Bell Manufacturing and later as office clerk and retired from McAnally Insurance Services. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Belmont, MS. She enjoyed flower gardening, working in her yard and all-day shopping trips. She loved spending time with her siblings, their children and grandchildren annually at family reunions in the Great Smokey Mountains. Her greatest passion of all was her family, especially spending time and playing games with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her little dog Sassy.
Services will be Saturday, April 24, 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Belmont, MS with Bro. Ray Burks and Clay Clement officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years – J.C. Clement, Jr.; two children – Tammy Bostick and Clay Clement (Karla); four grandchildren – BreAnna Hendrix (Jared), Torrey Bostick, Caitlyn Clement and Kylie Clement; three great-grandchildren – Kingston, Larkin and Mila Claire Hendrix; one sister – Peggy Rouse (Billy); a host of nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law – Joyce Thompson and Jo’el Thompson and one brother-in-law – Jack Clement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Dezzie Davis and brothers and sisters, Francis Barton, Dorothy White, Eugene Davis, Betty Huntley and Harold Davis.
Pallbearers will be Jared Hendrix, Kingston Hendrix, Torrey Bostick, Brooks Davis, Phil Byram, Jack Alexander, Jerry McAnally and Boyd Lee Tidwell.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 24, 12-2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Belmont, MS. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church, Belmont, MS.
