Patsy Borden Posey, 75, of Decatur, died on Sunday February 19, 2023 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
Patsy is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Vincent Posey; her parents, Dan and Morine Borden; her sisters, Ola Hill and Anita Borden; and her stepfather, Eroy McCafferty.
Patsy is survived by her sons, Thomas Vincent Posey II (Dawn), and Marty Posey (Jacqueline); her sisters, Mae Dean Hall, Patricia Rotton (Larry), Linda Lee (Steve), Gail Quasebarth (Bill), and Betty Hughes (Rick); Her grandchildren, Adam Chandler (Karley), Alyssa Thornton (Alex), Zack Posey (Jessie), and Haleigh Posey Sutton (Aaron); 6 Great grandchildren; and several neighbor’s grandkids.
Pallbearers will be family members, Glenn, Ben, Jimbo, Christopher, Zack, and Phillip.
Funeral services for Patsy will be on Wednesday February 22, 2023, at 11 am in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home with Brandon Watson officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday February 21, 2023, from 6pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
