Mrs. Patsy Ann “Patti” Porter, 54, of Florence, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016. A memorial visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Colbert Memorial Chapel from noon-2 p.m. The service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Patti was married to the love of her life, Vic. She enjoyed time with her family, she was a wonderful nurse, and loved the medical field. Patti had a gift of a green thumb and loved her flowers. Patti loved to escape to the beach every opportunity she had. We will miss her dimples and her smiling face and her humerous wit.
She is preceded in death by her father, Sonny Lawson; and sons, Brandon Montgomery, and Seth Montgomery.
Patti is survived by her husband, Victor Porter, of Florence; son, Josh Montgomery, of Muscle Shoals; stepdaughter, Megan Cruttenden (Blake), of Huntsville; mother, Janet Gautney Burbank, of Florence; sisters, Yvonne Lawson Moody (Lex), of Florence, and Vicky Andrews, of Tuscumbia; grandson, Brandon Montgomery, of Muscle Shoals; step grandchildren, Braden Porter and Sam Cruttenden, both of Huntsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
