Mr. Patrick East, age 53 of Wedowee, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa. A Private Memorial service will be planned with friends and family at a later date.
Mr. East was born in Phenix City, Alabama and lived there for around 30 years before living in Randolph County the rest of his life. He worked as a mechanic for multiple companies, and even when he wasn’t at work, his hobbies including anything to do with working on cars. He even installed paint booths in numerous mechanic shops. When he wasn’t working on cars, you could find him dirt track racing.
Mr. East is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Bonner of Wedowee; two sons: Joshua East of Grygla, MN and Eric East of Thief River Falls, MN; 8 grandchildren; four sisters: Sheila Lowry (Robert) of Opelika, Gwen Taylor (Dale) of Lineville, Elaine Reynolds (Richard) of Heflin, and Annette East of Wedowee; one brother, George East of Wedowee, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Sebeana Ann Sims East; and one brother.
