Patricia “Trish” Carpenter Umfress

Patricia “Trish” Carpenter Umfress, 59, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born May 7, 1965 to Tommy Carpenter and the late Mabell Mitchell Carpenter in Fulton. She was a CNA at The Meadows for 25 years before having to retire due to her health. Trish enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis and Mitchell Tenpenny, watching her hummingbirds, the Andy Griffith Show, shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Keyes Cemetery.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her father, Tommy Carpenter of Fulton; daughters, Sabrina (Eddie) Taylor of Fulton, and Tabitha Carpenter of Tremont; grandchildren, Solomon, Scarlett, Serena, Sammie, Savannah, Donaven, and Mason, and 1 sister, Shelia (Bo Russell) Dabbs of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Don “Sleepy” Umfress, and her mother, Mabell Carpenter.
