Funeral service for Patricia T. Dunkin, 72, will be Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ed Wilson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dunkin, went to be with the Lord, on Friday, August 22, 2025, at her residence. She was born January 14, 1953, in Florida, to John R. Thompson and Nell I. Etheridge Thompson.
Born as an Air Force baby in Panama, Florida, her family moved around a lot being involved in the Air Force. They spent 8 years in Alaska, 8 years in New Mexico and 2 years in Selma, Alabama. She graduated from Southside High School in Selma and married her husband, LaDon, in December in 1970 and were married for 55 years. She and LaDon had two great boys and six wonderful grandchildren, that she loved with all of her heart. They moved to Huntsville, Alabama, where she was employed by Weather Tech HVAC, as their Office Manager, until she was forced to take medical retirement due to Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
She accepted Jesus as her personal Savior in her early teens and was a great lady for God. Now she is rejoicing in her new home with the angels.

Casey Ryan Dunkin,
Six Grandchildren –
Abi Dunkin Knight, Hannah Jefferies Hood,
Parker Hendrix Dunkin, Colton Ryan Dunkin,
Hadley Wray Dunkin and Blakely Foster Dunkin.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Tymchenko, Austin Hood, Parker Dunkin, Blakely Dunkin, Colt Dunkin, and Cameron Knight.
