Funeral service for Patricia Ruth Garrison,73 age, of Decatur, will be Monday, July 8, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arthur Talley officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Garrison, who died Friday, July 5, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital, was born July 28, 1939, in Mt. Hope, West Virginia, to Walter Crafton and Alice Bowyer Crafton.
Mrs. Garrison was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Garrison is preceded by her husband, James Garrison and two sisters, Jane Crafton and Sandy Garrison.
She is survived by two sons, Brian Garrison (Joanna) of Cullman and Kevin Garrison of Decatur. Two Daughters, Carol Frantz (Will) of Portsmouth, VA and Rebecca Allen of Decatur, Eight Grandchildren, one brother Stewart Crafton (Cathy) of Mayfield, KY, and one sister Judy Allen (Frankie) of Decatur.
