Patricia "Pat" Wyne Patricia “Pat” Wyne, beloved mother, wife and treasured friend to all who knew her, passed away peacefully in the company of family and dear companions on Friday April 15, 2021.

Pat’s full life ended at the age of 90 following a long and courageous fight. She passed knowing she was surrounded by love, and in the company of people who will miss her, but more than that, live thankfully and with eternal appreciation for her role in their lives.

She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, where she lived with her mother Nellie Montgomery. She attended Baker University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology before starting a long and accomplished career in hospitals in Kansas City and at Humana Hospital in Huntsville.

She was a valued and lifelong member of Alpha Chi Sorority and relished the friendships that were renewed with each meeting.

Pat loved bridge, and the long-standing friends who made up her many bridge clubs. Among her many community service roles, she was an active member of Cosmopolitan and Circle at Latham Memorial Church. She was a member of Valley Hill country club where she enjoyed many rounds with friends and her husband Bob, previously deceased.

Her personal joys included cooking and welcoming friends and family into her home on the special occasions that were made more special by her care and gracious personality.

She is survived by her two children, Chris Harris and her husband Mark, and Bo Wyne and his wife Melody; four grandchildren, Jamie Harris, Abby Harris, Zachary Wyne, and Seth Wyne; and four great grandchildren, Koda Kemp, Bodhi Kemp, Logan Wyne and Maddox Wyne.

The family would like to express their sincere love and appreciation to Beverly Sutton and her daughter, Katherine, for the loving and kind care they showed their mother the past five years.

There will be a graveside service at Maple Hill Cemetery Saturday, April 17, at 10 a.m.

If desired, in leu of flowers you may make a donation to Hospice of North Alabama.
