Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Rae Peak, age 83, of the Ruth Community in Arab, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2018.
Mrs. Peak was born on August 23, 1935 to Alvin A. Thayer & Minnie Sue Thompson Thayer. Mrs. Peak married John William Peak on February 26, 1967 & they moved from West Palm Beach, Florida to the Arab area in 1990. She enjoyed quilting, playing card games & tending to her flowers and gardening.
She was a member of New Brashiers Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Peak is survived by her husband of 51 years, John W. Peak; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Richard Marks & Deborah Lou; grandchildren, Hannah Rae Mikelson, Matthew Ryan Mikelson, Angelique Renee Marks, Kristina Marea Marks, David Brian Marks, Kevin Micahel Walker; great grandchildren, Hannaree Grossi, Christopher Edward William Wright; nephew & wife, Robert Lee Ethridge & Cindy Ann. Preceded in death by her parents, Alvin A. Thayer & Minnie Sue Thompson Thayer; daughter, Susan Ruth Marks; half sister, Evenalle Ethridge.
Memorial service to be announced at a later date, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisting the family.
