Patricia “Pat” Jones Hudson, age 83, passed away on April 29, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Patricia (Pat) lived a life centered around the people she loved most. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and nothing brought her more joy than time spent with her family. She had a quiet strength, a caring heart, and a way of making those around her feel loved and supported.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carlie Hudson; her parents, H.D. and Dora Jones; her brothers, Hugh Don Jones and Jimmy Jones; her sister-in-law, Margie Jones; and her nephew, Mitch Bryant.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Missi Baucom, and her son-in-law, Ron Baucom; her granddaughters, Jayne Baucom (husband, Kevin Flores) and Jenna Echols (husband, James Echols); her grandsons, David Baucom (wife, Kasey Baucom), Michael Baucom (wife, Cat Baucom), and Jason Baucom and his wife, Melanie Baucom; and her great-granddaughters, Juliet Echols and Kinley Baucom.
She leaves behind her sister, Linda Lawler; her sister-in-law, Gail Jones; and her sister- and brother-in-law, Bill and Edith McDowell. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Patricia will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the deep love she had for her family. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by all who know her.
The visitation will be 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 02, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jason Swinney officiating the service. The burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.
The pallbearers will be Kevin Flores, James Echols, Mitch Mitchell, Shane Lawler, David Baucom, and Derrick Scott.
