Patricia ‘Pat’ Anne Ledbetter Clowers, 75, of Huntsville, AL and Venice, FL passed away Tuesday, October 19th. Pat was born in Sylacauga, AL to Caroline Hickman Ledbetter and Enoch Woodrow Ledbetter. She graduated from Sylacauga High School in 1964, and The University of Alabama in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Design. Pat and her husband, Dennis, worked alongside each other for over five decades in establishing and running a successful real estate construction and development company in Huntsville. After retirement, she and her daughter, Catherine, worked together in the ownership and operation of Topspin Tennis in Huntsville. In her free time, Pat enjoyed travel, tennis, golf and cheering on the Crimson Tide. More than anything, she cherished spending time with her extensive family. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Dennis Clowers; children, Damian (Kay), Jason (Carolyn), Chris (Suzanne) and Catherine (Jay); grandchildren, Lily, Sarah, Fisher, Hayes, Rory and Tripp; and brothers, James Ledbetter (Ann) of Huntsville and Terry Ledbetter (Linda) of Fairhope. There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Whitesburg Christian Academy and/or Russell Hill Cancer Foundation.
