Patricia L. Mayo, 76 of Huntsville passed away on 15 May 2014. She was born in Pennsylvania to Marian and John T. Reilly Jr, moved to North Carolina and attended East Carolina University. In 1958, she married the late Willie A. Mayo Jr, an officer in the U.S. Army and traveled the world before settling down in Huntsville in 1975.
Patty was an active member of the community, dedicating her time to helping others through programs with her church. She had a passion for playing bridge and was a member of several leagues with her treasured friends.
Patty is survived by two sons, a daughter and daughter-in-law: Pam and Jeff of Huntsville; and Bill with his wife Elizabeth of Kailua, Hawaii. She also adored and is survived by her two granddaughters: Carissa and Kaelin.
Services are arranged by Laughlin Service Funeral Home and will be conducted on Monday, 9 June 2014 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 12100 Bailey Cove Rd at 2:00 on Monday, with visitation starting at 1:30.
