Patricia Joan Lewellen Owens, 90, a resident of Columbia, died Monday, September 30, 2024 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Patricia was born on February 3, 1934 in Akron, Ohio to the late Ralph Lewellen and the late Helen Clayton Cook. She was a homemaker and a retired secretary for B.F. Goodrich in Akron, Ohio. On December 24, 1954 she married Ralph Robert Owens.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 70 years Ralph Owens of Columbia; three children, Aaron (Regina) Owens of Columbia, Patty (Mike) Carson of Columbia and Ken (Kim) Owens of Lawrenceburg; sister Ruth Ann Dix of Portland, Oregon; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Patrick John “PJ” Carson of Columbia; sister Marilynn Copen of Barberton, Ohio; a brother Richard Lewellen of Detroit, Michigan.
