Patricia Jane "Pat" Cockrell Hill Profile PhotoPatricia Jane “Pat” Cockrell Hill, 83, of Iuka, Mississippi, formally of Memphis, TN, died on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in her home. Pat was an incredibly valued member of her community and loved being able to give back. She was a frequent blood donor and had donated over 45 gallons throughout her lifetime. Her work with St. Jude was deeply respected, and she was often called on at a moments notice due to her blood type. She also volunteered with the American Legion for many years and even served on their board. Before retiring, Pat had a long and fulfilling 45-year career in trucking administration, and she was a dedicated member of Iuka Methodist Church when she was able to attend.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Amy Becker (Marty) and Laura Comer; her granddaughter, Brittany Creech (Ken); her great-grandchildren, Landon, Ethan, and Brooklyn; her son-in-law, Ronnie Comer; her bonus grandson, David Shinault (Loren); her bonus great-grandson, Matthew Shinault; her bonus daughter-in-law, Darlene McLain; and her best friends, Rhoda Whitaker and Myra Osment. She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Hill; the father of her children, Lawrence Greenwood; her parents, Amy and Chester Cockrell; and her siblings.

Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Pat’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
