Patricia Gilliam Wauford, age 80, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday March 9, 2019 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Points officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
Born on January 28, 1939 in Maury County, TN, Patricia was the daughter of the late Earl Thomas Gilliam and the late Ava Frances Huckaby. She was a Pattern Maker for Weather Tamer for 28 years. She was an old fashioned cook and enjoyed cooking for farm hands. Patricia was well known as an excellent seamstress.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 59 years: Allen Wauford of Columbia; Son: Dale Wauford (Kali Vance) of Columbia; Granddaughter: Brianna Wood of Unionville; Brother and sister-in-law: Bill and Joann Wauford of Williamsport; J.B and Anita Wauford of Bethesda, TN; Edward (Joy) Wauford of Detroit and special friends David and Sandy Kelker of Columbia.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Jimmy Gilliam and Bill Gilliam; brothers-in-law Jim (Gladys) Wauford and sister: Elizabeth Campbell.
Pallbearers will be: Robert Tyree; Will Patterson; Kevin Thomason; Jerry Crumly; Mike Futrol and David Kelker.
