Patricia Gail Gilbert, 71, of Athens, AL, passed away on Monday, December 30th, 2024. Mrs. Gilbert was born on February 8th, 1953, Cullman, AL, to Carmel and June (Denson) Day.
Mrs. Gilbert is survived by daughters Kim Adams (Ricky) and Kelly Clemmons (Marty); son Johnathan Gilbert; grandchildren Lance Adams (Megan), Jacob Clemmons, Amber Brown (Justin), Ashley Lackey (Chris), and Josiah Clemmons; great-grandchildren Bentley Brown, Kenadee Brown, and Huntleigh Adams; and brother Scott Day (Debbie).
She is preceded in death by her husband Freddie Gilbert; parents Carmel and June Day; and brothers Steve Day and James Day.
The funeral service for Mrs. Gilbert will be Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Donald Terry officiating. Visitation is from 11:00 to 12:45 p.m., on Thursday, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Lance Adams, Jacob Clemmons, Justin Brown, Chris Lackey, Bentley Brown, and Roy Brooks. The honorary pallbearer will be Josiah Clemmons. Burial will be Prospect Cemetery.
