Patricia Faye McDougal Cathey passed away on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on August 30th, 1954 in San Diago, California and was 69 years old.
She was a 1998 graduate of Martin Methodist College with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. She continued her career as a grant supervisor with the Memphis Police Department. She was always a hardworking and generous woman who loved her family dearly. She beat cancer twice and loved to laugh portraying a positive attitude to her family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father Mary Frances and Eugene Barnett along with her father James McDougal.
She is survived by,
Daughter, Mary Catherine (William C) Hazelton, III of Memphis, Tennessee.
Son, Charles Duck and partner Tiffany Stewart of Culleoka, Tennessee.
Grandchildren, Austin Hazelton, Stephanie Garrett, and Brittany Garrett.
Sister, Cathy Mize of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Sister, Alice Sue (Cayce) Abernathy of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Brother, Patrick (Cindy) McDougal of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Brother, Michael (Tanna) McDougal of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Step-mother, Irene McDougal.
Nieces and nephews, Sara Atchley, Dallas Durham, Joshua Abernathy, Richard Abernathy, Jennifer Hill and Sydnee McDougal.
