Patricia Ann Anthony's obituary picture Patricia Ann Williams Anthony, affectionately known as Tricia, passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 60.

Raised in Fruithurst, Alabama, and later making her home in Heflin, she was a full of energy and spirit from the very beginning. She was full of personality, loved to have fun, and had a contagious laugh that could fill a room. If you knew her, chances are you have a story that still makes you smile.

Life was not always easy for her. She traveled some difficult roads and fought battles that were often bigger than those around her could see. But through all of it, one thing remained true — she loved big. She loved in her own way, with a heart that could be as fierce as the woman herself.

She was the proud mother of her son, Michael Anthony, and her daughter, Jessica Anthony, who passed away in 2021. Her love for Michael never wavered, even through the difficult seasons of life, and she held onto the hope that one day they would find their way back to one another. In the end, that hope was fulfilled. Michael was able to be by his mother’s side, to say goodbye, and to give her the forgiveness she had long hoped for. It was a final gift of love and peace between a mother and her son.

She was also the grandmother of Aaron Anthony.

She leaves behind her son, Michael; her grandson Aaron; her sister Tracey Austin , niece Amanda Alred, nephew Davis Alred (Tiffany) several more nieces and nephews; a host of cousins; and many friends and extended family who will remember the laughter, the stories, and the unforgettable spirit she carried with her. Also a very great friend Kathy Hamilton who has helped in so many ways .

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Jessica; her parents, Davis and Shirley Williams; and her sister, Shelby Jean Williams Alred.

A memorial Service for Patricia will be held Saturday, August 8, at 2:00 PM at the Magnolia House at Cremation Services of East Alabama, 733 White Plains Road, Anniston, AL. The family will receive friends starting one hour prior to the service.

Her life wasn’t perfect, and it wasn’t always easy. But a life does not have to be perfect to matter. Hers mattered. She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, an aunt, a cousin, and a friend. She experienced both the beautiful and difficult sides of life, and through it all, she remained uniquely herself — spirited, funny, strong-willed, and capable of loving with her whole heart.

Those who loved her will forever remember her as Tricia, but to her mama, she was always “Trisher.” Perhaps now, after so many years apart, she is hearing that familiar name once again.

Rest easy, Trisher. You were loved, you will be missed, and your laugh will never be forgotten.
