Patricia Ann “Trisha” Landers, 66, of Killen, passed away July 12, 2026, at North Alabama Medical Center. She was a bus driver for Lauderdale County and a member of the Church of Christ. Trisha’s family remembers her this way: “She never met a stranger. She had a way of making everyone feel like family and would help them without hesitation. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone. She loved to pick at people and aggravate them. If she knew something about you that was funny, she wasn’t going to let you live it down. She was the best mother in the world. No matter what, she was there to love you and lift you up. She was one of the strongest women I knew. She never complained about hurting or being sad or anything. She was tough until her last breath. She found happiness in simple things in life. She loved to pick blue berries with her brother and garden. She loved being outside in her swing or just listening to the birds. She enjoyed being a bus driver for so many years. Her bus kids were some of her favorites. She loved them like they were her own. Our hearts are broken but I find peace knowing that she loved the lord and she gave her life to him. She loved to read her Bible and listening to preaching. It brought her a lot of joy”.
