Patricia Ann Pounders, 82, of Tuscumbia, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021. Visitation will be Monday, June 14, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Don McGuyer officiating. Burial will be in Community Cemetery.
Pat was a native of Ohio but lived most of her life in Tuscumbia and was a retired nursing assistant with Home Health. She was a member of Frankfort Road Church of Christ and the DAV Ladies Auxiliary of Sheffield. Pat was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Pounders, Sr.; daughter, Debbie Sledge; parents; Ralph and Mildred Wolford; brothers, Robert, Clark, Ralph, Carol, and Glen; and sisters, Mary, Dorothy, and Violet.
Pat is survived by her children, Mark Vetra (Lisa), Jack Vetra, Ann Thomason (David), and Danny Pounders; grandchildren, Patience, Tamara, Amanda (Brandon), Jason, Dustin (Melinda), and April (Brian); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers include Jason Stephenson, Tristen Moore, Brandon Moore, and Nick Parsons.
