Patricia Ann Porter, age 79, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2023. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, May 11, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Gary Cosby officiating. A private committal service will follow in Florence City Cemetery.
Mrs. Porter was born on December 3, 1943 to the late Maurice Edmond Blacklidge and Mary Gladys Todd Blacklidge in Cherokee. She retired as a secretary with Lauderdale County Extension Service. Mrs. Porter was a member of Maud Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Porter was preceded in death by her sister, Malinda Waldrep, and first husband, Jim Robinson.
She is survived by husband, Harry Porter; children, Brad Robinson, Todd Porter, and Cara Burns; and grandchildren, Will Robinson, Caroline Robinson, Scott Robinson, Michael Johnson, Christian Johnson, Atticus Burns and Morgan Burns.
Pallbearers include Kendrick Burns, Ralph Waldrep, Roger Waldrep, Todd Porter, Michael Johnson, and Christian Johnson.
