Patricia Ann Edger, 72, of Huntsville, passed away September 28, 2024.
Patricia was a strong woman in her working years serving as one of the first women police officers in Huntsville. Later she studied, trained and worked serving others in nursing. Pat loved and enjoyed her horses and dogs and she had a special gift in training them.
Patricia is survived by her son Bryan Drake (Kristi); 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren : Georgianna Drake, Leighton, Daxton; Christian Drake (Grace), King, Amaya; Barron Drake (fiancé Brooklyn); brother Jimmy Jones and sister Pamela Cantrell (William) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Pat’s friend (like family) is Debbie Baswell. Pat and Debbie did sewing and quilting together for years and helped each other like sisters. When family could not be there, Debbie was there with comfort and love holding Pat’s hand with sister’s love to the very end. Thank you!
Patricia enjoyed the past 2 1/2 years at Bridgewood Gardens Assisted Living in Albertville, they’re wonderful people. Pat made many friends there that she truly loved and they loved her. I feel like God lead us there.
Graveside service will be Sunday, October 6th at 11:00 AM in Maple Hill Cemetery, with Rev. William Cantrell officiating.
