Patricia Ann Brooks, 72, of Elkmont, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Brooks was born October 29, 1947 in Limestone County to James Edward Pylant and Evelyn Smith.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brooks will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Cecil Norman and Marshall Norman officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evans Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Eric Brooks (Pam Foster); daughter, Patty Sparks (Jeremy); grandsons, Keith Brooks, Dakota Brooks and Jordan Foster; granddaughter, Victoria Kraus; sisters, Brenda Tennison, Barbara Wallace, Kathy Turner and Judy Gregory; brothers, Dave Pylant and Kenneth Pylant; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Brooks; son, Glynn Brooks; granddaughter, Cheyenne Brooks.
Pallbearers are Keith Brooks, Eric Sparks, Jordan Foster, Jason Barksdale, Stevie Moore and John Powell. Honorary pallbearers are Stanley Ivey and David Allen Pugh.
