Patricia Ann Brice, age 85, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014, with her loving family at her side. She will always be remembered as a loving wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mary Bell Arnsdorff, and sisters, Dorothy Staples and Vivian White.
She is survived by her husband, Philip H. Brice IV for 59 years (would have celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary July 17); daughter, Marcia Carroll, of Florence, Alabama; son, Philip H. Brice V, of Cumming, Georgia; granddaughters, Patricia Cooper, of Birmingham, Alabama, Elizabeth Carroll, of Florence, Alabama, and Amanda Brice, of Cumming, Georgia; and grandson, Philip H. Brice VI, of Boone, North Carolina; her dearly loved nieces and nephews, Susan Baumiller, West Palm Beach, Florida, Jolee Perry, Coral Springs, Florida, Tammy Chandler, San Francisco, California, Annie Spiegelman, Canton, Georgia, Patti-Jo Griffin, Acworth, Georgia, and David White, Pompano Beach, Florida.
For 45 years, she was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi, Life member and Master Degree. She enjoyed her day time bowling leagues with her girlfriends and nighttime league with married couples.
She had traveled around the world several times taking an expedition into Borneo, being hijacked to Cuba, being caught up in a motorcade with Prince Rainier, Prince Philip, and Prince Charles in Monaco, traveling on the Siberian Express to helicopter rides in Hawaii, just to mention a few of her escapades.
She was a wonderful cook and passed on her talents to her children.
The immediate family will hold a private service July 13 and to follow will be a celebration of her life at 2 p.m. at her residence for family and friends.
