Mrs. Patricia Ada Salter  Patricia Ada Salter of Arab, Alabama, formerly of Georgia Mountain, passed away November 24th, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital. Pat was born to Cyrill and Margaret Bull on June 9, 1941 in Sheffield England. She moved to Alabama in 1977 with her then husband Roger Harrison for his job at Hall Chemical in Arab. Pat was an active mother, always supporting her daughter in ice skating, beauty pageants, band and dance. Pat worked for Brindlee Mountain Telephone Company for many years. She was used on many radio advertisements and voice messages due to her English accent. She loved sewing and knitting and would make any outfit her daughter needed for any occasion. Traveling was her greatest love. Pat has been on 62 cruises seeing everything from Italy, Alaska, the Caribbean, Australia, and Bora Bora. Pat also loved gardening. There was not a flower that she didn’t love. She was in her element when she worked for a short time at Floral Design. Pat also did calligraphy for numerous displays at Hall Chemical and Floral Design. She retired at age 52 when she married her husband, John Salter. They both enjoyed their retirement traveling. After her husband passed away, she continued her travels with her daughter. The last trip they took together was just a few weeks before her death.

Pat is survived by her daughter Louise Cresse and son-in-law Dale Cresse. Sister Celia Crofts (Roger), a cousin Shirley Higgins (Major) her first husband Roger Harrison (Bonnie) and a multitude of friends. Also her precious fur babies Maizee, Fiona, and Maggie.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents and her second husband John Salter, who passed away in 2015
