Pamela Rae Linen (Thatcher) aged 65 was born in Libertyville, Illinois at Condell Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of Robert R. Thatcher (Sr.) and Mary-Lou Toennes.
After a thirty-month struggle with stage IV pancreatic cancer she departed this life on the 7th of April 2026 at 2218 (10:18pm) in her home.
Her hobbies included drag racing, hunting, fishing, bowling, playing softball, sight-seeing, and photography. Along with taking care of her motorcycle and cars, she even rebuilt car engines. She enjoyed working with people and helping others with numerous projects.
She is survived by her husband Gerome Linen, daughters Kya Lee Wells and Claire Vander Ploeg, her siblings Diana Thatcher, Kathy Seger, and Norman Toennes, along with many family and loving friends. She was predeceased by her mother Mary-Lou Toennes, Jerry Toennes (father figure), and Robert “Robbie” R. Thatcher (brother).
Her service will be held at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home & Crematory on 16 Hughes Road, Madison, Alabama 35758 on the 15th of April 2026.
Viewing will be from 11:00am until 1300 (1pm) with service immediately following. After the service there will be a small gathering of family and friends at her residence, 13609 Arbor Ridge Madison, Alabama.
