Pamela Joy Vann, age 64 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Lynchburg Nursing Center. She was born in Harvey, Illinois on April 18, 1959, to the late J.B. and Anna Sue (Elliott) Hill. She had previously been employed as a dispatcher for Winchester City Police Department, Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Sewanee Police Department, and at AEDC before retiring from Franklin County General Sessions Court. She enjoyed cheering for the University of Tennessee Volunteers and Tennessee Titans, as well as playing music and singing. Pam was truly “one of a kind” and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Violet Robertson, Larry Hill, Patricia McGee, Jim “Fire Daddy” Hill, Rodney Hill, and Tracy Hastings; and grandson, Colby Stewman. Pam is survived by her loving children, Gary (Sherry) Vann, Melody Stewman, and Reba (Tyler) Duffey; grandchildren, Trenton (Ashley) Vann, Mason (Megan) Vann, and Aleta (Dakota) Richardson; great-grandchildren, Triton Vann, Traxton Vann, and Easton Richardson on the way; sister, Stacy (Darryl) Venable; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Visitation will be from 11:00 am-3:00 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro.
