Pamela was the daughter of the late Ford Griggs and Lillie Frances Matthews of Waynesboro, Tennessee, who survives.

Pamela dedicated her working life to caring for others as a nurse and caregiver. She had a kind and giving heart and was known for her caring nature and creativity. A talented artist, Pamela enjoyed expressing herself through her artwork and had a special love for all animals.

She is survived by her daughter, Elise Wooten of Detroit, Michigan; her mother, Lillie Frances Matthews of Waynesboro, Tennessee; brothers, Jimmy Griggs and Randy Griggs, both of Waynesboro, Tennessee; and sister, Belita Wilson Fox of California.

Pamela also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, Billy Wilson, Wyatt Griggs, Maverick Griggs, Solon Griggs, Kristy Wilson, Sheryl Wilson, and Lydia Brenot; five great-nephews; six great-nieces; one great-great-niece; and two great-great-nephews.

Pamela will be remembered for her artistic talent, compassionate spirit, love for animals, and the care and generosity she showed to those around her. Her creativity and giving heart will be fondly remembered by her family and all who knew her.
