Pamala Gwen Presley Corey age 66 of Smithville passed away Monday June 1, 2026, at Willow Branch Health and Rehab in McMinnville. She was born April 29, 1960, to her parents the late Reverend Robert Jewel and Eula Mae Johnson Presley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Timothy Michael Corey; sister, Patsy Ann Rachel; brother, Robert (Buddy) Dewayne Presley; nephews, Robert Jewel Presley, Richard Justin Presley, Dewayne Allen Walmsley. Ms. Corey attended People’s Pentecostal Church and was a retired factory worker. Pamala is survived by her only daughter, Pamela (Matthew) Cunninghan; only granddaughter, Allison (Rhett) Bundy; sisters, Phyllis (James) Brown, Jackie Worley, Glenda Theiss, Evie (Jeff) Miller, Teresa (Tim)Simmons, Babbie (Bill) Davis; many loving nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Regina Corey, Sheryl Kelly; and life-long friend, Yvonne Owens. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Thursday, June 4, 2026, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hewell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 12 Noon until the time of the service at 3 PM. In addition to flowers donations may be made to People’s Pentecostal Church in memory of Ms. Corey. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Corey family.
