JACKSON COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident in Jackson County has taken the life of one person:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, has claimed the life of a Paint Rock man.
Larry D. Parker, 26, was fatally injured when the 2005 Nissan Sentra that he was driving was struck by the 2006 Lincoln Town Car driven by Joshua A. Cain, 46, of Grant. Parker was not using a seat belt at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on U.S. 72 near Jackson County 236, approximately five miles west of Woodville, in Jackson County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
