Othariell Wayne Martin, age 77, Haleyville, AL. passed away Tuesday November 29, 2022. He served in the United States Marine Corps, later enlisted with the Army National Guard, retiring at the rank of Staff Sergeant. Retired from Norfolk Southern Railway and was a member of Sunny Home Baptist Church in Haleyville, AL.
Visitation will be Saturday December 3, 2022 from 12:00NOON – 2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 2:00PM in the chapel, with Bro. Eddie Everett officiating. Burial will be in Sunny Home Cemetery. Pallbearers, Brad Hulsey, Chris Mims, Mason Martin, Chris McInnish, Carson McInnish and Doug Etheridge.
He is survived by his wife, Rebekah “Becky” Martin; daughters, Krista (Brad) Hulsey and Emily (Chris) Mims; grandchildren, Zoe Eaton, Maegan Martin, Zen Eaton, Emma Crawford, Madalyn Martin, Anna Mims, Mason Martin, Sara Mims and Samantha Eaton; great grandchildren, Rylee Kelley and Cooper Kelley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.D. Martin and Alma Swims; sister, Catherene McInnish McQuary; sons, Wayne Deetric Martin and David Matthew Eaton.
