Dr. Oskar M. Essenwanger, age 93, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away at his residence Saturday, September 14, 2013. Hampton Cove Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Father Michael MacMahon will officiate with burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 7pm Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Church.
Dr. Essenwanger is survived by his wife, Johanna F. R. Essenwanger; daughter, Marianne Mitchell of TN.; sister, Ludwina (Erich) Hamedinger; and a host of nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations can be made to the Development Fund of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, St. Vincent De Paul Society or the Red Cross.
