Age 87 of Goodlettsville passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at his home. He was born August 23, 1934 in Havana, Cuba. He worked for Tennessee Uniform, now Cintas, and for Car Quest. Mr. Chinique played baseball for the Nashville Vols at Sulpher Dell and was a pitcher and short stop player for the Minnesota Twins. He loved baseball more than anything. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce Caperton Chinique; several siblings. He is survived by his son, Stephen (Myria) Chinique, Goodlettsville, TN; brothers, Berto (Cuqui) Chinique and Elio Chinique, both of Hialeah, FL; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11am in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Adam Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Garden s with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family is scheduled for Friday, April 1, 2022 4-8pm and Saturday, April 2, 2022 9am-11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to Austin & Bell Funeral Home for help with the funeral expenses.
