Oscar “Dick ” Johnson Jr., 90, of Tuscumbia, passed away Nov. 6, 2012.
Visitation will be Thursday Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel, with burial to follow at Grassy Cemetery, Lexington Ala. Brother Larry Johnson is officiating.
He was preceded in death by parents, Oscar S. Sr. and Eva Lilly Johnson; wife, Reba Johnson; two brothers, Jesse Willard Johnson and Robert “Pee Wee” Johnson; sister, Louise Jackson.
Survivors include his son, Don Johnson (Linda), of Tuscumbia; daughter, Delores Sullivan (Vince), of Fla;
12 grandchildren; and a host of loving great-grandchildren.
Family member will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Johnson was a member of Highland Park Church of Christ, a former member of the Lion’s Club where he was past president in Lexington, and a former member of the VFW.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Post No. 31,
