Orsby William Harrell was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 7, 1946. He departed this life on Tuesday, August 21, 2023, at his home in Huntsville, Alabama. He will always be remembered for his quick wit, telling jokes, and love for golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph Charles Harrell (father) and Lottie Mae (Tenant) (Mother) and one brother Joseph Charles Harrell.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Dorothy Harrell; two biological daughters, Raquel and Suzanne: four bonus kids Kenneth Ray Cobbs (April); Gwendolyn Morris (Jimmy); Dorothy Cobbs; and Stanley Cobbs (Stacie); siblings, Cecil Harrell; Carolyn Evans, Eloise Comer, Eva Medlock, Terry Harrell and Randy Harrell; several grandkids, great-grandkids; sister in laws; brother in laws; and a host of nephews, nieces; other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Royal Chapel of Memories (4315 Oakwood Avenue NW, Huntsville, AL 35810).
Public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
