Ora Lou Wagner, 91, of Emmaus, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, surrounded by her children, in her home. Her husband, Billy N. Wagner, died on March 17, 2008. Born in Florence, Ala., she was the daughter of the late David and Nellie E. (Jones) Beadle. She had been an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Emmaus where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the choir. Ora Lou was employed as a secretary in the administrative building for East Penn School District for 20 years until retiring. She was a member of the Emmaus Chorale.
Survivors include sons, Billy N. Wagner Jr. and his wife, Suzanne, of Bethlehem, and John D. Wagner, of Emmaus; daughter, Theresa J. Dellinger, of Prosperity, S.C.; grandchildren, Jon Wagner, Tammy Rigsby, Cody and Lindsey Dellinger; stepgrandchildren, Peter Keglovits and Elizabeth Kuczynski; and five great-grandchildren. She was the last of nine children.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut Street, Emmaus, Pa. A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Monday in the church. Interment is in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik and Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
