Ora A. Howard Cottrell, 92, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at Limestone Health Facility. She was a homemaker and farmer most of her life, worked at Lexington City Hall, and the General Store for several years. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ, Lexington.
Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, from 2-3 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel with Danny Pettus officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Cottrell is survived by her daughter, Linda Cottrell DeSart; grandsons, Jeff (Christyn) DeSart and Zach (Burcu) DeSart; great-grandsons, Grant, Nathaniel, and Arel DeSart; sister, Phyllis Howard Hoenig; and favorite niece, Paulette Cockrell.
