Opalene Kinard, 81, Russellville, Alabama passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at her residence.
She lived her entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She was owner and operator of Kinard’s Cafe in Russellville for 31 years.
Visitation will be Monday, July 24, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 25, 2017, 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Russellville with Bro. Darren Steward and Bro. Randall Tice officiating. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors include brother, Marshall (Sue) Kinard, Marlon (Judy) Kinard; sister, Kay (Stanley) Holland; nephews, Paul (Daphanie) Kinard, John (Jessica) Holland; nieces, Maye Winnette Kinard, Shana (Shawn) Johnson; four special nieces and nephews, Jordyn Johnson, Jaret Johnson, Elizabeth Holland and Everett Holland.
She was preceded in death by, parents, William John and Effie Mae Cothrum Kinard; sister, Willie Mae Kinard; nephews, Tommy Lee Kinard, Marshall Lee Kinard, Jr., Silas Bartholomew and John Joseph Kinard.
