Opal Neomia Hamner, age 92, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017. Visitation will be today from noon until 2 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Bill Lyons and Brother Kevin Dillon officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery in Center Star. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
She was a member of the church of Christ.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Richard C. Hamner; daughter, Tina R. Hamner; son, William “Ricky” Hamner; and son-in-law, William E. Pounders.
Survivors are her daughter, Nancy E. Pounders; grandchildren, Courtney Bode, Eric Pounders, Kelli Keeton, and Jeremy Hamner; and eight great-grandchildren.
