Ms. Opal Nell Smith, age 79 of Albertville, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Brother Alvin Martin officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones at 10:00 am till the time of service, burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery of Albertville.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara King; son Buddy Smith (Jennifer); grandchildren Joseph Smith (Samantha), Jennifer Moreno (Eric), Trenton Smith (Chelsea), and Kambria Smith; and great grandchildren Michael Smith, Erika Moreno, Jordan Moreno, Allie Smith, and Olivia Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Lorene Kelley; daughter Carolyn Sue Smith; sister Betty Jo Oden; and brothers James Kelley, Jimmy Kelley, J.W. Kelley, and J.V. Kelly.
Pallbearers will include Johnny Gardener, Michael Smith, Donald O’Connor, Joseph Smith, and Trenton Smith.
