Opal Faye Hester Allen, 73, of Phil Campbell, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014.
Mrs. Allen was a lifelong resident of Franklin County, a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
The funeral service will be Monday, August 25, 2014, at 2 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery, Haleyville. Officiating will be Sammy Taylor. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5-8 p.m.
Survivors include husband, Richard Allen; children, Mollie Shirley, Jeff Allen and Derek Allen; sisters, Helen Lawler and Hazel Hester; brother, Ray Hester; grandchildren, Riley Shelnutt, Megan Welborn, Morgan Shelnutt, Taylor Allen and Kaylee Allen; great-grandchild, Maddie Drew Welborn.
Pinkard Funeral Home Russellville will be directing.
