Funeral service for Opal E. Herring, 88, of Hartselle, will be Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 3:00PM with Benny Sivley officiating. Burial will be at Basham United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Herring died December 15, 2018 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born April 25, 1930 in Morgan County to Edward Clarence Morris and Mirtie Mae Moore Morris. Mrs. Herring was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilburn Lane Herring; three brothers, Price Morris, Carl Morris and Millard Morris; and one sister, Earlene Hardin.
